In the 1980s, relying on their professional advantages in rubber technology, the company's founder and his team successfully developed rubber sealing plug products for aluminum electrolytic capacitors, filled the domestic gap, passed the certification by the Ministry of Mechanical Electronics as a substitute for import, and entered the stage of industrialization.
In the early 1990s, the company started to set foot in railway track fastener products. According to the drawings provided by the Ministry of Railways, the company successfully developed the railway rubber cushion board. In 1994, it became the first product to win the license to manufacture railway industrial products, and has since retained the license and been recognized as a famous brand product in Zhejiang Province.
In 2005, the company participated in the "Joint R&D Group of Fastener System for China’s Passenger Dedicated Line" for its professional R&D advantages and production experience in rubber and plastic products, and completed the R&D tasks of sub-topics such as "Trial-production and process research of rubber products for fastener system for passenger dedicated line" and "Trial-production and process research of nylon products for fastener system for passenger dedicated line" for its high reputation in the industry. The performance index of its successfully developed high-speed railway fastener products reached the international level, breaking the monopoly by Germany and Japan in high-speed rail and making positive contributions to establishing the brand image of Made-in-China in the high-speed rail field. In addition, the company participated in the drafting of Temporary Technical Conditions for Single Fasteners, Single V Fasteners, W Fasteners and W-8 Fasteners for Passenger Dedicated Lines.
In 2005, the company established the Enterprise Technology Center, which was recognized as the Enterprise Technology Center in Zhejiang Province in 2008, High-tech Enterprise R&D Center in 2011 and Zhejiang Xianghe Track Fastener Research Institute in 2017.
Since its establishment, the Enterprise Technology Center has been committed to the organizational construction, personnel training, system construction, innovation capacity building, and guaranteeing of equipment and fund input.
The Center currently boasts 53 R&D professionals, with the general manager serving as the director of the team. In the R&D workplace 20002, there are more than 70 sets of trial-production testing equipment for various rubber and plastic products, such as electro-hydraulic servo static and dynamic face testing machine, all-purpose material testing machine, electronic stretching machine and digital aging face testing box for rubber and plastic low-temperature brittle face testing machine, with an original value of more than RMB13 million. In recent years, more than 30 projects have been established, including 2 national projects and 8 provincial projects; 42 valid authorized patents, including 18 invention patents and 24 utility model patents. A total of eight products have passed the new product appraisal and the registration of scientific and technological achievements in Zhejiang Province. At the same time, paying attention to information construction and the industry-education-research practice, the Center has established cooperation with scientific research institutions such as the China Academy of Railway Sciences and Zhejiang University of Science and Technology.
